Clothed in Moonlight

They stood together on the precipice of their dreams – of the furthest reach of their reality.

Clothed in nothing but the blanket of the moon, and shivering with the warmth of their tears.

As they lay, he placed a hand to her stomach.

It pulsed in response.

“Isn’t it beautiful?” His wife asked.

She placed her hand on his, and curled them lovingly together.

He gazed into her eyes and their eyes crinkled – glistened – like the stars, like their dreams.

He collapsed into her arms, and broke down crying.

They were having a baby.

– At last –

“It is,” He said.



What else is desire?

Desire nothing but happiness

Happiness is our family

And family is everything in life
